German Battery Act (BattG): FAQs published

The Federal Environmental Agency (UBA) has published in German an overview of key questions in German, particularly concerning the duties of manufacturers under the German Battery Act (BattG).

The BattG requires all manufacturers of batteries and accumulators – including importers – to report to the UBA their participation in the market, any changes and also their departure from the market. This can be done online via the register set up by the UBA.

The UBA’s FAQs are in German and answer all the important questions to do with the German Battery Act.
