On 5 November 2013 the draft of the new cost regulation to ElektroG (ElektroGKostV) was published. Thereby, the fees for pick-up and provision orders (fee fact no. 2 and 3) will increase by approx. 18% as of 2014.
The increasing fees can be explained by the decreasing amount of orders, which are due to the rise of optings (meaning: public waste disposal authorities organize the disposal instead of allowing them to influence the pick-up coordination). Other fees raised by stiftung ear remain unchanged.
